The landscape of film and game scoring is shifting. Today, traditional music can easily be replicated, automated, and generated by algorithms. But while AI can mimic a genre, it cannot understand a narrative. It cannot take a risk.

That is where I come in.

Based in Atlanta, Josh DeRosa is a composer, orchestrator, and arranger working globally across the film and video game industries. My approach is entirely human-driven and fundamentally subversive: I don’t just fill space with music—I look at a story and find entirely new, unexpected ways to support it.

I don't make background noise. I build distinct sonic identities for projects big and small, collaborating closely with directors, producers, and game developers worldwide.

I am always looking for adventurous creatives who are actively bored of the status quo and aren't afraid to stand out. Let’s make something irreplaceable.
